Why did you join SymphonyRM?
Very simple, it was the hyper-focused approach on bringing Next Best Actions to Healthcare. SymphonyRM has figured out how to turn healthcare from being reactive to proactive. Most CRMs focus on providing a “360 degree view” of the patient or consumer; SymphonyRM goes significantly further to provide proactive intelligence, enabling the organization’s enterprise and digital channels to engage with their consumers in the best way. Our continued investment in AI will build on our substantial data science capabilities and pioneer new innovations to help the healthcare industry anticipate consumer needs and use proactive outreach to build more meaningful relationships with health system consumers and providers
You have over 20 years of experience in healthcare, how do you think Next Best Actions can solve some of the industry’s biggest challenges?
First and foremost it’s turning healthcare from reactive to proactive. Healthcare organizations have traditionally waited for patients to come to them; in the new era of emerging competition from companies like CVS, Amazon, and One Medical, healthcare organizations have no choice but to innovate, remove friction for their consumers, and proactively engage them.
What is your product vision for the company heading into 2020?
Our vision for 2020 is threefold.
- Double-down on data science (artificial intelligence and machine learning)
- Continue to push innovation with our client value-generating and metric focused HealthOS platform
- Partner with industry-leading CRMs and EMRs to integrate SymphonyRM’s Next Best Actions Engine. This would allow organizations to maximize their investment in their portfolio platforms by leveraging SymphonyRM’s data science, content, and services — ultimately helping them drive growth, loyalty, and quality.
What upcoming product updates are you most excited about?
We are working on releasing the next-generation version of the SymphonyRM platform that greatly improves user workflows and the underlying infrastructure to support the intelligence and CRM solutions that our platform provides. This will allow us to speed innovation so that our customers can always count on having industry-leading features, today and in the future.
You’ve been on the road meeting with SymphonyRM customers, what have you learned?
Healthcare provider organizations are still learning what CRM means to them. SymphonyRM’s customers, on the other hand, are at the bleeding edge of using an intelligent Next Best Action-driven CRM to significantly influence their business outcomes. That’s very exciting!
